Shannon (Barry) Siwinski ’92, P’16, to Receive Alumni Service Award, April 12

Continuing the tradition of recognizing professional excellence, outstanding leadership, and volunteer commitment to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ, this year’s Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAwards Dinner will honor Shannon Siwinski for her exemplary professional achievements on April 12 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ will honor Shannon (Barry) Siwinski ’92, P’16, director and senior trader at Bank of America Securities, Inc., with the Alumni Service Award during this year’s Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAwards Dinner on Wednesday, April 12 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

A biology major, Siwinski has continued to be an active and invaluable participant in all areas of the University since her graduation. Her engagement as a mentor and consistent resource for the University’s Career Center, in her current position at Bank of America and previous position at J.P. Morgan, broadened opportunities for numerous Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆstudents and recent graduates.

Siwinski joined the Alumni Association Board in 2009, and served as president for two years. She is also a member of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ’s Women’s Leadership Council, has spoken at the University’s Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆCounty Networking Reception, and hosted admitted students’ receptions at her New Jersey home. She and her husband, Steve ’92, P’16, were also actively engaged with the Parents Leadership Council while their daughter, Sarah '16, was a student. Since 1988, the annual Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAwards Dinner has raised more than $20 million for the Alumni Multicultural Scholarship Fund and other scholarships, while celebrating the achievements and volunteer service of distinguished members of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆcommunity.
