University President Mark R. Nemec, PhD, and Dean of the Dolan School of Business Zhan Li, DBA, traveled to Shanghai, China, to visit Dolan Shanghai graduates and further Fairfield's global visibility.
President Nemec and Dean Li first traveled to Shanghai in 2019 to establish a partnership with Golden Education, one of the largest management training companies in China. This past week, they returned for a visit with program administrators and recent graduates.
Over the past five years, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan has enrolled nine Shanghai cohorts into the MBA program and two cohorts into the Master of Business Analytics (MSBA) program; the third MSBA cohort will begin in January 2025. MBA graduates participated in Commencement on Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ’s campus for the first time in May 2024, marking a milestone in the program's success.
This week's trip provided a valuable opportunity for the University leaders to both celebrate and congratulate the recent graduates of each cohort. As Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan continues to expand its global reach, the world-renowned business school consistently attracts and enrolls a selective group of students into its Shanghai MBA and MSBA programs, further enhancing the global visibility of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan’s highly ranked programs.
The cohorts in Shanghai are taught by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan professors and the flexible online format allows students to continue in their professional careers while pursuing the degree in the evenings and on weekends.
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan’s MBA program is ranked #53 among part-time MBA programs by U.S. News and World Report for 2024-25. With the flexibility to complete the program online or in hybrid format, this STEM-designated degree prepares students across multiple business functions.
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan’s MSBA program, ranked among the top 25 globally by QS for best return on investment, offers opportunities for students to pursue a set of 10 classes with Dolan expert faculty in the business analytics field.
Both President Nemec and Dean Li returned to the North Benson campus with insights to propel the international expansion of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆDolan through further collaboration with Golden Education.
