Meet Men’s Lacrosse Alumnus Brian Holland ’02

ϲʹgrad and equity trader at Fidelity, Brian Holland's commitment to his alma mater extends beyond the field. As a mentor and family man, he continues to inspire future generations of Stags.

Why did you choose to attend ϲʹ?
The summer before my senior year of high school, I had the ϲʹ coach for summer league. After visiting campus, I was blown away. I left knowing it was the perfect academic, athletic, and cultural fit for me.

How are you involved with the University now?
I am a mentor for the lacrosse team. I often speak to students looking to pursue a career in finance.

What inspires you to stay involved with the University?
At the moment, I have 5 nieces attending Fairfield. I love hearing where they’re living, what opportunities they’re taking, and what classes are most challenging.

How do you hope your support will impact the future of ϲʹ?
My hope is that ϲʹcontinues to stay true to its core mission of pushing the boundaries of athletic and academic excellence, while maintaining a vibrant student life.

Any advice for fellow ϲʹAthletics alumni and friends about how to stay involved?
I recommend reaching out to the career office to mentor graduating students or job seekers, and always make it a point to get back on campus for home games at one of the beautiful new facilities.
