Sandy Hook Memorial Service

The shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown last December shattered a community and shocked a nation. Campus Ministry will mark the first anniversary of that terrible day with a simple memorial service of prayer and remembrance today in Egan Chapel.

"We are remembering the Sandy Hook families, friends and first responders who will forever be in our hearts and minds on the anniversary of the Newtown tragedy," noted Deb Picarazzi, Office of Campus Ministry. "Knowing the Sandy Hook children and staff are with our most loving and forgiving God will give us a measure of comfort on this one year anniversary."

All are encouraged to attend the service.
