‌Now in its third year, the event has become a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆtradition. Every semester, alumni athletes from a variety of varsity sports and careers come back to campus to assist current students develop career and relationship-building skills. Former athletes from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆswimming, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, golf, and baseball teams will be part of this event.

Since the first Career Night in 2010, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆstudent-athletes have come to look forward to this event and acknowledge the important connections they make with alumni.‌

‌‌‌“We’re here to try and help them think about their futures after Fairfield,” said Michael Miller ’87, who will return as the primary speaker at the event. Miller is a motivational speaker and founder of ReallyMotivated.com.

After hearing from Miller, student-athletes will have the opportunity to go through a speed networking exercise with more than 20 alumni athletes with careers in fields such as financial services, marketing, and communications.  There will also be some attorneys and entrepreneurs in the mix. Students will practice their skills and learn from alumni about how building their networks has helped them further their careers.
