Hall of Fame Golf Outing Set for Monday, May 2
The 2016 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAthletics Hall of Fame Golf Outing will be held on Monday, May 2 at the historic in Fairfield. For the second consecutive year, proceeds from the event will be directed toward enhancements to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆSports Performance program benefitting all of the University’s varsity student-athletes.
“We are excited to continue our focus on the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAthletics Sports Performance program to benefit our student-athletes,” remarked Director of Athletics Gene Doris. “The support we achieve from this outing will enhance the facilities for our student-athletes and positively impact the recruiting efforts of our coaches.”
In addition to 18 holes of golf at Brooklawn Country Club, the event includes the 2016 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆAthletics Hall of Fame ceremony.
Ben Andrews '11 (men’s rowing), James Brown '69 (men’s basketball), Michael Bocklet ’07(men’s lacrosse), Amy Hanson Ostella ’97 (women’s tennis), Paul Sheehy '85 (men’s rugby) and Sabra Wrice '08 (women’s basketball) will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame. .
Supporters may register as individual golfers or as a foursome, or register to attend only the evening Hall of Fame ceremony and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
