Time flies – Fairfield's turning 75!
On March 17, 1942, the Rev. John J. McEleney, S.J., and six Jesuit brothers officially met to create an institutional entity for both high school and college-level education: Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆCollege of St. Robert Bellarmine. This marked the beginning of both Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆCollege Preparatory School and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ.
Since that time, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆhas grown from a commuter college of 303 male students to a prestigious University with over 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students. We can take pride in our rich history of stellar academics, vibrant student activities, compassionate service to others and competitive athletics.
