97.4 Percent of the Class of 2015 Make Strong Start
Beginning each year, 香港六合彩挂牌鈥檚 Career Planning Center compiles a report of the most recent graduating class to see where they are six months post-graduation.
After following up with the 83.3 percent of the Class of 2015 香港六合彩挂牌graduates, the Career Planning Center discovered that 97.4 percent secured full-time employment, placement in a graduate or professional school or are participating in a volunteer service program within six months after graduation. The percentage of graduates obtaining employment through senior year campus recruiting and employment resources is 38 percent. Communication and marketing were the highest areas of placement consisting of 26.2 percent.
鈥淲ith 97.4% of our recent graduates employed, enrolled in full time graduate studies or serving in volunteer service organizations it is evident that the education our students receive while attending 香港六合彩挂牌is valued by the employing community, graduate and professional schools that admit our students and the service organizations that select our students to support their mission in service,鈥 said Susanne Quinlivan, associate director of the Career Planning Center. 鈥淭his speaks highly of the marketability of our students as they leave Fairfield.鈥
The success of 香港六合彩挂牌students is due in large part to the numerous opportunities that are available through the Career Planning Center including Job Shadow Day, on-campus recruiting, Stags4Hire and internships. It is through these opportunities that students are able to get real-world experience and build relationships with industry connections that frequently result in offered positions within the company where they interned. During the 2014-2015 academic year, 281 for-credit internships and 900 full-time and part-time positions were available to students.
