Lacrosse to Host Military Appreciation Day, April 9
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ Lacrosse will host its annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 9 at Rafferty Stadium. All military veterans and active duty servicemen and women will receive free admission to the doubleheader, which features a pair of pivotal conference matchups for both lacrosse teams.
In addition to free admission for military personnel, limited edition Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆLacrosse apparel will be on sale with proceeds to benefit military charities and organizations.
The action on Conway Field begins at noon with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆwomen’s lacrosse – the defending champion of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference – hosting MAAC foe Siena. The second half of the doubleheader pits the reigning Colonial Athletic Association regular season champion Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆmen’s lacrosse against CAA opponent Drexel at 3 p.m.
Both ends of the twin bill will be broadcast live on ESPN3, produced by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ Media Center.
