Fa-la-la-la- Finals - Take a Break from Studying with These Activities at the Library

The DiMenna-Nyselius Library has planned a week of fun, stress-reducing activities for students to unwind, meet a furry friend, and get into the holiday spirit.

Finals week is upon us and the staff at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library invite you to take part in some of the exciting activities they have planned December 12 – 19. Activities include free study supply giveaways each day at the Circulation Desk, visits with therapy dogs, crafting, and more.

Lisa Thornell, student engagement and outreach librarian, said, “The library organizes de-stress events during finals week each semester to give students studying in the library a quick break so that they don’t have to leave the library to find mental relief from their exams and papers. We also offer a free coffee and snack cart available after the Library Café closes at 11 p.m. each night.”

In addition, Counseling and Psychological Services will have drop-in hours in the library. Board games, coloring, and Legos will also be available near the main level staircase.
