On Saturday, April 29, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ Softball held their annual Friends of Softball Celebration. Over 70 alumni, parents and student-athletes gathered to reconnect after the team split a MAAC doubleheader with Manhattan earlier that afternoon at Alumni Softball Field.

"It was so exciting to see the strong turnout at our Friends of Softball event over the weekend,” said head coach Julie Brzezinski. “Our current team had a chance to meet and mingle with our alumni and their families and friends. Connecting the present with the past is what strengthens our alumni and their support going forward. We are looking forward to continuing to build that foundation."

The event kicked off with greetings from Coach Brzezinski, who led the Stags to a MAAC Championship and NCAA postseason trip in 2015. Friends of Softball President Sarosy Kiernan '03 thanked attendees for their support and encouraged them to return to campus to cheer on their Stags.
