The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ men’s basketball team has been selected to appear in a pair of “MAAC Wildcard” Games to be televised nationally on ESPNU. The Stags will play at Quinnipiac on Friday, Feb. 3, and at Rider on the following Friday, Feb. 10. Both nationally televised games will tip off at 7 p.m.

The MAAC Wildcard Game allows ESPN and the conference office to select any of the games scheduled for that date to be “flexed” to an ESPNU broadcast. Last season, the Stags hosted eventual conference champion and NCAA underdog Saint Peter’s in an ESPNU “flex game” at Webster Bank Arena.

Fairfield’s Feb. 3 meeting at Quinnipiac will be the first of two encounters between the in-state MAAC foes. The Stags will host the Bobcats at Leo D. Mahoney Arena in the regular season finale on March 2. The Feb. 10 game at Rider is the back-end of the home-and-home series with the Broncs, which begins this Sunday, Jan. 29 at Mahoney Arena.

Tickets for the Jan. 29 home game against Rider are available at . Also upcoming is the Sunday, Feb. 5 visit from Iona, which is sold out. Fans may to be added to the waiting list.

Student tickets are still available for all home games. Red Sea VIPs may claim their free ticket via the Super Stags app beginning 48 hours before tip-off. Free tickets are available to all students — pending availability — beginning 24 hours prior to game time.
