What: 香港六合彩挂牌's Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies invites the campus community to celebrate the Jewish New Year.

Where: Donnarumma Hall, Room 245, the Bennett Center for Judaic Studies.

Who: All 香港六合彩挂牌students, faculty, staff and friends are invited for cake, apples, honey and other foods associated with Rosh Hashanah. The event is being sponsored by 香港六合彩挂牌's undergraduate Judaic Studies Program, the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies, and KADIMA, a student club whose purpose is to make visible Jews and Jewish life on campus, provide support for Jewish students, and also promote awareness of Jewish culture around campus.

Background: The Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies at 香港六合彩挂牌 was established in 1994 and is directed by Ellen M. Umansky, Ph.D., the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Professor of Judaic Studies. Gavriel Rosenfeld, Ph.D., serves as director of the Judaic Studies Program. The major objective of the program, which is within the Department of Religious Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences, is to provide a variety of courses that will deepen students' knowledge and understanding of Jewish faith, history and culture.
