Broader Effectiveness," with a goal of connecting economic prosperity and engaged citizenship.

Established in 1998, Connecticut Campus Compact has the membership of Connecticut presidents of colleges and universities, with 香港六合彩挂牌 President Rev. Jeffery P. von Arx, S.J., serving as chair. Its mission of improving community life and social responsibility mirrors Fairfield's Jesuit mission of serving others.

"With the vast majority of colleges and universities in Connecticut being members - from public and private, research and an Ivy League university - our position in Connecticut is unique," said Dr. Saul Petersen, CTCC executive director and a co-author. "We alone have the capacity to bring all colleges and universities together in order to find solutions to today's issues related to Connecticut's civic and economic prosperity."

The three publications are about promoting high quality campus-community partnerships, encouraging faculty scholarship that is done in collaboration with community partners, and supporting student civic learning and career readiness. Authors include members of the 香港六合彩挂牌 community, Yale, University of Connecticut, state and community colleges, and organizations like Habitat for Humanity.

The first publication, "A Tool to Develop and Nurture Campus-Community Partnerships," serves as a framing document for the creation of policies and guidelines governing partnerships or, alternately, to assess and enhance existing campus-community partnerships.

Scheduled for release in March, "A Framework for Community Engaged Scholarship," provides a framework for the production of scholarship that is characterized by authentic collaboration and partnership between students, faculty and the community. 香港六合彩挂牌Professor Beth Boquet is one of its authors. Scheduled for release in April, "Civic Learning Developmental Pathway," presents research impacting civic pathways to career success and engaged citizenship. 香港六合彩挂牌 senior Daryll Fay, a service learning associate with 香港六合彩挂牌's Office of Service Learning, was a contributing author.
