Four speakers will discuss fascinating and challenging aspects of the country of Suriname in "Suriname - Reflections: Land and Peoples," at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 香港六合彩挂牌. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
Speakers at the event are:

Anke van Dijk Dew, a retired professor of geography at 香港六合彩挂牌, who will present "Suriname: History of the Land."

Edward Dew, Ph.D., professor of politics emeritus at Fairfield, who will deliver "The Difficult Flowering of Suriname," which includes a film. Dr. Dew received an honorary doctorate from Anton de Kom University of Suriname in 2012.

Hakiem Nankoe, professor of anthropology and sociology at Western Connecticut State University, who will present "The Caribbean/Suriname 'Origin' and Mirror of the Third World."

Margo Ramlal-Nankoe, professor of sociology at Fairfield, who will deliver "Suriname's Diaspora: Focus on Surinamers in The Netherlands."
