Who : Riccardo Zandonai's "Francesca da Rimini" presented by The Met: Live in HD .

In a rare revival of Zandonai's passionate drama, based on an episode from Dante鈥檚 Inferno, Eva Maria-Westbroek sings the title role, with Marcello Giordani as her clandestine lover Paolo, and Mark Delavan as Paolo鈥檚 devious brother Gianciotto. Marco Armiliato conducts the compelling masterpiece鈥檚 renowned lush and romantic score.

What : The Met: Live in HD is a series of high definition opera transmissions of The Metropolitan Opera鈥檚 new season direct from Lincoln Center鈥檚 Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.
