The College of Arts and Sciences Leadership and Professional Development Program offers a sequence of workshops, panels, requirements, and tasks designed to complement students’ academic work and build their career readiness. Students will learn essential skills needed to achieve their career goals and gain a competitive edge in today's job market. Program participation is optional, but strongly encouraged.

The program is comprised of four levels. After completing each level, students receive a College of Arts and Sciences incentive. After all four levels are completed, students receive a notation on their transcript for completing the program.

Learning Outcomes

After completing all four levels of the College of Arts and Sciences Leadership and Professional Development program, students will be able to:

Identify career options that fit their interests, skills, and abilities through self-reflection and exploration.
