After scoring three goals in an unbeaten week for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆWomen’s Soccer, Maddy Theriault ’26 was selected as an Honorable Mention to the Top Drawer Soccer . Also the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, Theriault dished out an assist as the Stags tied Sacred Heart and defeated Mount St. Mary’s during the week.
Theriault had a hand in all three goals in Fairfield's 3-0 win in the first MAAC match of the fall this past Saturday. She highlighted her five-point outing with a pair of goals, the second time in her career that she enjoyed a multi-goal match.
Theriault started her week by netting a goal at crosstown rival Sacred Heart in an eventual 3-3 draw with the Pioneers.
For the season, Theriault leads the MAAC and entered the week ranked 39th in the country with six goals, while also placing 43rd in the nation with 14 total points. She was the MAAC Rookie of the Year after the 2022 campaign, and came into her sophomore season as the MAAC Preseason Player of the Year.
